Manvel Weekend Happenings: Fall Festivals & Family Fun |
MastersRoad’s Fall Free for All and Sacred Heart’s annual bazaar offer activities across October 16–18 |

Manvel families can build a weekend around two local church celebrations October 16–18, 2026, with Saturday afternoon activities at The Church on MastersRoad and a three-day bazaar schedule at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Community.
The main family outings fall on separate days, making it possible to visit MastersRoad on Saturday and Sacred Heart on Sunday.
Saturday: Fall Free for All at MastersRoad
Fall Free for All is happens on Saturday, October 17, from 2–6 p.m. at 6911 Masters Road in Manvel.
The event is free and features a car show, BBQ cook-off, live music and dance performances, free food, games and family activities.
Families looking for a low-cost afternoon can put this one on the calendar, while anyone entering a competition should check the separate participation requirements.
The church’s current signup pages confirm an October 17 Bake Off and Trunk or Treat, with both listings showing a 2–6 p.m. event window.
Trunk or Treat participants are invited to decorate a vehicle and distribute candy or small trinkets, keeping their displays family friendly.
Vehicle setup begins at 1 p.m., and participating cars must remain until the celebration ends at 6 p.m.
Those setup instructions apply to people supplying decorated trunks, rather than a required early arrival for visiting families.
The Bake Off offers Cake, Baker’s Dozen and Baker’s Choice categories, with a $25 fee per entry.
Baked items must be submitted by 2 p.m. October 17, and judging starts at 2:30 p.m., with cash prizes and placement trophies listed for each category.
The BBQ Cook-Off signup identifies October 16–17 as the competition dates, so cooks should review those arrangements separately from Saturday’s public celebration.
Volunteer information lists a Friday, October 16, meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center for assignments and event shirts.
For participation questions, contact the church at 832-637-7121 or connect@mastersroad.com before making plans around a competition or volunteer shift.
Sacred Heart: A bazaar weekend ending with Sunday festivities
Sacred Heart’s annual bazaar begins Friday, October 16, with bingo at the Knights of Columbus, followed Saturday, October 17, by dinner and a live auction in the Parish Hall.
Sunday, October 18, is the main festival day, scheduled from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Children’s options include carnival games, a prize booth and inflatable activities, while food and market booths, snow cones, desserts, a silent auction and a raffle drawing round out the day.
The parish is at 6502 County Road 48 in Manvel, and its office number is 281-489-8720.
The bazaar schedule does not specify Friday or Saturday start times or prices for admission, meals and activities.
Check with the parish for those details; families should not assume that every part of the bazaar is free.
Plan around the different event formats
Saturday’s MastersRoad gathering offers a four-hour afternoon window, while Sacred Heart’s Sunday festival allows a morning or afternoon visit.
For a family attending both, choose the activities that fit the children’s ages and leave time for meals, travel and a break between outings.
Free attendance at a celebration and paid entry into a contest are different arrangements, so keep those costs separate when planning the weekend. |
