Fire + Form Pilates & Lagree Prepares to Open in Manvel |
New studio plans Lagree and mat classes, with October 19 a tentative opening target following a delay |

Fire + Form Pilates & Lagree is preparing to bring a new boutique fitness option to Manvel, with plans for machine-based Lagree training and heated and non-heated mat classes at 3573 County Road 58, Suite A.
The studio’s debut has been delayed, however, and residents should wait for a confirmed opening announcement before heading over for a first class.
Opening postponed; October 19 remains tentative
In an October 9 update supplied to The 288 Insider, Fire + Form announced that it would not open Monday, October 12, as previously planned.
The studio said the building had not yet completed the final inspections needed for the business to receive its Certificate of Occupancy.
That explanation comes from Fire + Form’s announcement; the inspection status has not been independently confirmed with the city.
The studio said it expected its own space to be complete Monday and was using the additional time to prepare instructors, refine classes and plan a special Founding Members soft opening.
It expressed hope for Monday, October 19, but emphasized that it would announce a confirmed opening date only when certain.
Customers were told to watch their email and the studio’s social channels for further updates.
What happens to existing reservations?
According to the opening update, reservations for the affected week will be canceled and the corresponding class credits returned.
The studio also said memberships will not activate until members check in for their first class.
Anyone with questions about an existing booking or account can contact the studio directly rather than assuming the tentative date is a replacement reservation.
Lagree, heated sculpt and mat Pilates
Fire + Form describes its planned lineup as a combination of deliberate strength work and more energetic heated movement.
Its Lagree classes use the MiniPro machine and focus on slow, controlled movements, with strength, core work, balance and flexibility built into the format.
The studio markets that option as high intensity and low impact, a description of the workout rather than a promise of individual results.
Pilates Sculpt pairs heated mat work with light weights, resistance and rhythmic movement.
For people who prefer a non-heated class, Pilates Strength emphasizes controlled resistance, core stability and alignment, while Pilates Signature offers a mat-based format built around Pilates foundations.
The published class menu also includes gently heated Pilates Stretch and Hot Yoga, adding slower-paced stretching and breath-led movement to the planned offerings.
Prospective clients can compare those formats before choosing a first class instead of treating every Pilates or Lagree session as the same experience.
What to know before a first visit
The studio’s FAQ asks clients to bring water in a non-glass bottle and wear comfortable athletic clothing.
It lists grip socks as required for all classes and says they will be available for purchase at the studio.
New clients are asked to arrive early for an introduction to the space and equipment, and first-time visitors will not be admitted once class has begun.
Fire + Form’s purchase page lists presale memberships with a three-month minimum commitment and automatic monthly renewal.
Because the opening has shifted, prospective members should confirm activation, billing and booking details with the studio before purchasing.
The address is also reflected in a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project filing for the Pilates studio buildout, although that filing does not establish an opening date.
Questions can be directed to info@fireandformpilates.com, with opening updates available through the studio’s website and social channels. |
